		<description><![CDATA[The Australian Government is calling for applications for the new $126 million Emerging Renewables Program which will be administered by the Australian Centre for Renewable Energy (ACRE). The Program will provide support for the development of renewable energy and enabling technologies in Australia across the innovation chain.
A minimum of $40 million will assist the development of renewable energy and enabling technologies with potential to contribute to the generation of large-scale base load power, such as wave, geothermal and enabling technologies.
A further $26.6 million will be targeted at supporting the geothermal energy sector.]]></description>

		<description><![CDATA[Two QSEIF funding rounds of up to $200k  per project will be held in 2011. Draft applications for the first round must be received by 25th February 2011, with projects expected to be announced in August.
Project proposals are invited from Queensland organisations seeking to develop innovative technologies that reduce consumption of fossil fuels, water and greenhouse emissions.

To be eligible for QSEIF funding:
·  Applicants must be Queensland-based organisations.
·  The main activities of the project must be undertaken within Queensland.
·  Intellectual property developed in the project must belong to a Queensland-based organisation.

		<description><![CDATA[Victorian Government funding of up to $30 million is on offer to sustainable energy pilot demonstration projects or research and development proposals, in a bid to support renewable energy technologies and the development of cleaner energy in Victoria. Funding of up to $5 million per project will be available for projects in sustainable energy technologies in areas such as solar, wave, geothermal and bio-energy.
