TCF SIP Grant Now Open-Textiles Clothing Footwear – Strategic Capability Program

The Textile, Clothing and Footwear Strategic Capability Program (TCF SCP) is a five year, $35 million, competitive grant program. It will support large projects that will build innovative capability at the enterprise and workplace level.
Round 2 opened on 6 June and will close on 5 August 2011. The program runs from July 2010 to June 2015. The minimum grant size is $250,000 and funding must be matched on a dollar for dollar basis.

$5m Extra for TCF Textiles Clothing and Footwear Strategic Capability Program

This year’s Budget for the Government’s Textile, Clothing and Footwear (TCF) Strategic Capability Program provides an additional $5.0 million in 2010-11 for the program, bringing the total value to $35.0 million over five years. The program will now also be able to support smaller projects, with the eligibility threshold reduced from $1.0 million to $500,000.

BIC to replace SIP for Textiles Clothing and Footwear (TCF) Grants

More than $112 million of assistance will be made available to the Australian clothing and household textile sector following the passage of important legislation today (18 March 2010). The legislation provides the framework to create the Clothing and Household Textile (Building Innovative Capability) Scheme, supporting innovative activities from 1 July. The $112.5 million scheme, replacing the TCF Post 2005 (SIP) scheme, will provide incentives to promote innovation to support an internationally competitive clothing and household textile manufacturing and design industry.
