New Grants

The Export Market Development Grants (EMDG) Round 1,2 and 3 early milestone reporting to be announced soon.

In their newsletter, Austrade said they are working through details to refocus EMDG for round 4, and will publish the changes once finalised.

 Early FY24 Milestone Reporting

The EMDG online portal for submissions of milestone reports for 2023–24 expenditure are expected to open soon, projected sometime in March this year, according to Austrade. Once opened, the portal will allow submission of activities and related expenditure incurred in the 2023–24 financial year.

Austrade have plans to keep the online portal open throughout the remainder of the 2023–24 financial year and throughout the 2024–25 financial year. This is to assist

  • more than 9,000 milestone reports from Rounds 1, 2, 3 grantees for eligible expenditure incurred in the 2023–24 financial year
  • more than 1,300 milestone reports from Round 3 grantees for eligible expenditure to be incurred in the 2024–25 financial year

Take note that this is applicable to

  • Round 1, 2 or 3 grantee due to submit a milestone report for 2023–24 expenditure
  • Round 3 grantee who has a grant agreement that covers the 2024-25 financial year, and due to submit a milestone report later this year for 2024–25 expenditure
