Two new grant programs are now available for eligible Tasmanian advanced manufacturing businesses to undertake market expansion activities and innovation and growth initiatives to improve their competitiveness.
- Advanced Manufacturing Marketing Expansion Program – provides assistance to commission market research and business matching services, undertake marketing activities and planning, undertake and develop promotional activities, attend key trade exhibitions and promotions, assist with inbound buyer visits to Tasmania, support companies collaborating on the establishment of new markets.
- Advanced Manufacturing Innovation and Growth Voucher System – provides assistance to Quality Assurance systems, industrial product design, design for manufacturing, disruptive technologies, engineering and applied research.
Assistance is available to eligible Tasmanian small and medium sized advanced manufacturing businesses with a sales turnover in excess of $300,000 up to $20 million.
Minimum grant assistance is $5,000 up to a maximum of $10,000 with the applicant contributing at least two-thirds of the project costs in cash.
