The Textile, Clothing and Footwear (TCF) Small Business Program provides grants of up to $50,000 for projects to improve the business enterprise culture of established TCF small businesses that have not received grants or qualify for assistance from other TCF programs. TCF small businesses must manufacture an eligible TCF product in Australia, or design an eligible TCF product for manufacture in Australia. They must have fewer than 20 employees; have a minimum turnover of $100,000; and provide a minimum cash contribution to the project of 25% of eligible expenditure.
The program is competitive and applications are assessed on merit. Refer to the Customer Information Guide for advice on suitable projects and how to address the merit criteria. If successful, projects should be up to 12-months in duration, commencing from July 2012. Funding of $2.5 million is available per year over a ten year program period, which commenced in 2006/07.
Should you have an inquiry about the TCF Small Business Program or require additional information about the Round 7 application process, please contact the TCF Small Business team via the AusIndustry Hotline on 13 28 46 or email email@example.com.
