Peter Nolle

Peter is a director of Treadstone and is a registered R&D Tax Practitioner. Peter has delivered grants of all types from R&D tax to Innovation grants, Export Grants to Infrastructure Grants.
He has extensive business and financial management experience gained from a career of over seventeen years in engineering, finance and information technology industries. He has worked in Australia and the UK.
From 2007 to 2008 he managed a technology spin-off business developing a prototype mobile phone/email platform for international markets. He has extensive experience across a wide range of Government Grants from R&D, infrastructure to Export. Peter has been on advisory boards of several innovation focused companies.
He completed his MBA at Melbourne Business School in 2006 and is well connected in Melbourne’s entrepreneurial and venture capital communities.Peter is a member of the Australian Information Industry Association and The Tax Institute. In Peter’s spare time he chairs the committee for the Churchill Club Australia that organises panel discussions on emerging technology.
Diana Karambalis

Diana is experienced EMDG consultant, helping prepare and advise businesses on export grants for Austrade’s Export Market Development Grants (EMDG) as well as preparing AusIndustry’s R&D Tax Incentive claims. She has worked with a range of clients including software, food products, clothing, advertising, agri, build environment and technology products.
She managed a number of bookkeeping and administration systems for various SMEs for over fifteen years and understands the pressures of small business and exporters from first hand experience. Diana worked in biomedical science prior to moving into business and education roles
Diana’s skills in accounting and communication efficiently guide businesses through the EMDG. Her aim at Treadstone is to assist businesses maximising grant payouts and minimising preparation time. Diana is a member of the Australian Export Consultants Group and The Tax Institute and has completed CTA1.
Frasia Latina
BBus (Information Systems)
Frasia is an experienced R&D tax consultant with over 20 years of experience developing, managing and delivering innovative ICT solutions across various sectors including education, research and health. Frasia’s exposure to all aspects of SDLC and her technical writing expertise injects keen technical insights, process and rigor around identifying and extracting R&D-relevant information for software-based R&D projects.
Prior to Treadstone, she worked as an IT project coordinator and solution designer at Monash University, liaising with client and capability managers to deliver key programs of work within both Agile and Waterfall development frameworks. Frasia holds a Bachelor in Business Information Systems and qualifications in business analysis, project management, Oracle, SQL and ITIL certification.
Peter Shacklock
ITIL, PRINCE2, CTA1
Peter is a highly experienced R&D tax consultant with a solid background in IT Applications Development and Project Management. With over 15 years experience designing, building and supporting a diverse portfolio of specialised and proprietary systems, Peter brings a depth of experience to the R&D Tax portfolio. He has broad industry exposure across Retail, POS, Merchandising, Supply Chain, Agri, AR/AP, Treasury, Finance and Banking, among others.
Prior to Treadstone, Peter led development of the Order2Cash Sales and Invoicing solutions and Application Integration for a global transformation program. This included B2B integrations, .NET and ERP solutions delivered by local and offshore development teams. Intuitive and technically proficient across knowledge domains. Peter holds qualifications in VB, SQL, PRINCE2 and ITIL. Peter is a member of The Tax Institute and has completed CTA1.
Tom Filipcic
Dipl PM, PMBOK
Tom Filipcic has over 20 years of experience in the Food & Beverage manufacturing sector, having started training as an engineer with (the then) Carlton & United Breweries from 1996.
From 2006 Tom has been working as a project engineer and using his project management skills on small to large sized projects, such as the multi-million dollar George Western Foods project consolidating the Don Smallgoods and KR Castlemaine facilities where Tom was responsible for process definition and complete scope of specify, design and contract negotiation for bulk materials handling systems throughout the new plant; a $75k CIP and chemical dosing system for Cognis Whyalla (now BASF).
Tom is an accredited ISO9001 trainer, and has delivered Quality Management Systems across a range of manufacturing sectors.
Kate Shacklock
AICB, Adv Dip HRM, BAS Agent
Kate is an EMDG consultant, helping businesses maximise their rebates for Austrade’s Export Market Development Grant (EMDG). She has worked with a wide range of clients ranging from Fashion Accessories, Clothing and Footwear, Food Products, IT Platforms, Skincare and Interior Design.
Kate holds an Advanced Diploma in Human Resources Management and Certificate 4 in Bookkeeping. Kate is also an experienced BAS Agent and Certified Bookkeeper in the financial services industry. Prior to Treadstone, she worked as a CFO for a commercial electrical company
Kate’s efficiency, communication skills and attention to detail guide businesses through the EMDG process. Kate uses her knowledge in the financial industry to maximise her client’s claims. Her goal is to help Australian businesses thrive in the international market.
Stuart Wallace
B. Tech (Design)
Stuart has over 25 years of R&D experience through professional roles in business as an industrial designer, design engineer and research collaboration manager. He has managed federal and state government programs supporting innovation, R&D and commercialization activity delivered through entitlement, reward and grant based funding incentives for government and industry.
