Applications are now open for the Victorian Government’s Dairy Development Grants program. The program will assist dairy farm businesses to improve their productivity, competitiveness and resilience to market downturns.

The Grant is a component of the Victorian Government’s assistance package aimed at supporting the Victorian Dairy Industry.

Rural Finance is the delivery agent for the program in Victoria on behalf of the state government.

In short, the program will offer Grants of up to $5,000 per dairy farm applicant / business to implement on-farm infrastructure improvements that assist business rebuilding, restructure and production efficiencies.

Applications for the Dairy Development Grant funding will be processed in order of receipt. One Dairy Development Grant will be offered per farm business or farm property only.

Please note, only applications that are completed in full and submitted with the necessary supporting documents will be accepted for processing.

The grants will be open until 30 June 2017, or until the Dairy Development Grant program funds are fully allocated, whichever occurs first.
